Yala Peak, one of the most beautiful and tranquil peaks located in the heart of the Langtang Region of Nepal, is an easy adventure and manageable without any prior climbing experience. Yala Peak Climbing is the most suitable for those who wish to step on a Himalayan Peak but have a limited amount of time available. It is located right next to Tibet border and offering a spectacular view of Mt. Shishapangma (8,046m), Tserko Ri (4984m), Kanjing Ri (4,600m) Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Gang Chempo (6,388m) and Dorje Lakpa. Yala Peak Climbing is an easy and non-technical adventure and suited for everyone who has good physical and mental fitness and basic trekking experiences. Best months to choose this adventure are Apr-May and Oct-Nov. 
Yala Peak Climbing starts after the long drive to Syabru Bensi which drive 7 hours from Kathmandu. Then we continue walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements we reach the beautiful base camp of Yala peak from where one can witness the splendid views of Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Dorje Lakpa (6,990m), Lenpo Gang (7,083m) and mighty Shishapangma (8,027m) in Tibetan side. Day 1 :- Kathmandu Arrival

Upon your arrival at the airport, Carena Trek staffs will welcome you and direct transfer you to the hotel. Overnight with welcome dinner at the hotel in Thamel.

Day 2 :- Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

Today morning at the hotel, you’ll meet your trek guide and also go on a Kathmandu sightseeing tour where you’ll be going to historical places like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Monkey Temple. Overnight at the same hotel. 

Day 3 :- Drive to Syabrubesi 1,550m

Early morning after breakfast, we will be driving towards Syabrubesi, 145KM away from Kathmandu City. Syabrubesi is the starting point of Yala Peak Climbing and also our stopping for today. 

Day 4 :- Trek to Lama Hotel 2,470m

We pack our bags and kick off our journey towards Lama Hotel, which is the most famous refreshing stop in Langtang stop. It takes 6 hours to arrive at Lama Hotel from Syabrubesi. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 5 :- Trek to Langtang 3,430m

Pleasant morning walk from Lama Hotel leads us to Ghoretabela for little rest and Lunch. As we start walking further from our lunch spot, we start feeling the high altitude and we will be stopping at Langtang village for an overnight stay. 

Day 6 :- Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,870m

Today we walk towards Kyanjin Gompa which is also the most famous Gompa in Langtang Region and spent overnight after exploring mani walls, spectacular mountains, and human settlements. 

Day 7 :- Rest Day at Kyanjin Gompa

This is your rest day before proceeding our walk towards Yala Peak Base Camp and it will be little tough walk than previous days. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 8 :- Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp 4,400m

Finally, we are at the base camp of beautiful Yala Peak at an elevation of 4,400m. It is 6 hours of little tough walk from Kyanjin Gompa to the base camp of Yala Peak. Overnight at Yala Peak Base Camp.

Day 9 :- Trek & Climb to Yala Summit 5,732m from Base Camp

Today, we are going to step on the main highlights of our trek and also the highest point of our trek - at an altitude of 5,732m. From the top of Yala Peak, we can witness beautiful panorama then descend down to base camp for an overnight stay. 

Day 10 :- Reserve and contingency day

In the case of unfavorable or bad weather, we will be going to spend one more day at the base camp even though it happens rarely at the Himalayas.

Day 11 :- Return to Kyanjin Gompa

We start descending to Kyanjing Gompa early morning after breakfast following path enjoying spectacular mountains. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 12 :- Trek to Lama Hotel 1,550m

We keep on descending to Lama Hotel, which is the most famous refreshing point in this region and spends overnight there.

Day 13 :- Trek to Syabrubesi

On our last day of the trek, we descend down to Syabrubesi following rhododendron, oak, and pine forest and terraced fields. Spend overnight at Syabrubesi.

Day 14 :- Drive back to Kathmandu

Today we will travel 145KM distance from Syabrubesi to the capital city, Kathmandu and explore the local market of Thamel in the evening. Spend overnight at the hotel. 

Day 15 :- International Departure

This is the last day of Yala Peak Climbing, so one of our members will drop you to the airport for flight back home.
