Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations on Earth featuring base camp of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest. Every year, passionate trekkers from all over the world tend to come here to soak themselves in the most beautiful periphery of the high Himalayas on Earth, Mt Everest (8848m) and its other neighboring peaks mounting for airspace. This trek is demanding and full of adventure but worth every struggle for the exposure to the rich culture and pristine nature of Khumbu Region. Main attractions of Everest treks are Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho-Oyu (8,201m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m), Mount Everest (8,848m) itself and three high passes including Renjo La (5,345 m), Kongma La (5,535 m), and Cho La (5,430 m)
The trek starts from thrilling flight to Lukla from Kathmandu Valley witnessing the awe-aspiring snow-capped mountain views. We continue our trail towards Chukung valley via Dingboche, after crossing Kongmo La Pass, we reach Lobuche and head towards Everest Base Camp. You’ll get an excellent opportunity to visit beautiful land captured by the Sherpa culture and magnificent views of this unique part of the world. We’ll descend back to Lukla via the same route and fly to Kathmandu from there.

Day 1 :- Arrive in Kathmandu

This is your first day in Kathmandu with Carena Treks and one of our airport representatives will pick you from the airport and direct transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay in Thamel. 

Day 2 :- Kathmandu sightseeing tour

Kathmandu sightseeing tour includes a tour to cultural heritage sites located in Kathmandu valley including Boudhanath, Patan Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, and Pashupatinath. Overnight in Thamel. 

Day 3 :- Fly to Lukla 2,830m & trek to Phakding from Lukla 2,640m - 04 hrs.

We go for a thrilling flight to Lukla over snow-clad mountains from Tribhuvan International Airport today. Impressive views from a plane will make you feel good. Lukla is our trek starting point and we start our trek to Phakding after reaching Lukla. Overnight in Phakding. 

Day 4 :- Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) 06-07 hr

We wake up early morning, have breakfast and leave for hustling and bustling village of Namche which is also known as biggest Sherpa Village. Namche Bazaar is the trading hub of that region and you’ll get many facilities such as hotels, restaurants, local markets, internet facilities, etc. 

Day 5 :- Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization

Today is our rest day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and later in the afternoon we go on an excursion near Namche Bazaar and explore Sherpa Culture. Overnight stay in Namche. 

Day 6 :- Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m). 05-06 hr

After spending 2 quality days in Namche, we kick off our journey from Namche to Tengboche and we get to see spectacular mountain peaks, monasteries, and other historic monuments. Tengboche is famous for ancient Tengboche Monastery. Overnight stay at Tengboche. 

Day 7 :- Tengboche to Dingboche (4260m). 05-06 hr

On day 7, we trek towards Dingboche that takes around 6-7 hours and slowly we start to feel high elevation during our walk. The further trek going to be more difficult so we are going to spend 2 days here in Dingboche for acclimatization. 

Day 8 :- Rest at Dingboche for acclimatization

This is our rest day and we can spend this day by local culture exploration. Dingboche is a beautiful area offering tremendous mountain views. Overnight in Dingboche. 

Day 9 :- Dingboche (4350m.) to Lobuche (4930m.) via Dongla (4620m)

Today our trek goes steep ascend trek Chupki Lhara which is the ridge that provides impressive views of different mountains. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 10 :- Lobuche (4900m.) to Gorakshep (5180m). 03-04 hr

Lobuche to Gorakshep takes about three to half hours where we will have lunch and you can rest for a while. If you feel alight, we can walk to Everest Base Camp at the height of 5,486m. Overnight at EBC. 

Day 11 :- Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and back to Pheriche (4243m). 06-07 hr

On Day 11, we hike all the way up to the highest point of this trek, Kala Patthar, 5,545m. Kala Patthar provides awe-aspiring scenery of snow-clad mountains. Then we hike down towards Pheriche for an overnight stay. 

Day 12 :- Pheriche to Tengboche (3867m) 4-5hr

Now onwards, our descending journey starts and we descend towards Tengboche today from Pheriche. It takes 4-5 hours to arrive at Tengboche.

Day 13 :- Tengboche to Namche (3440 m.) 04:30- 05 hr

We keep descending by enjoying the mountain environment and unique culture of the Khumbu Region. Today our stopping point will be Sherpa village, Namche.

Day 14 :- Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886m.) 6:30 – 7:30 hr

From Namche, our trek starts early morning because it takes around 6:30 to 7:30 hours to arrive at Lukla, Gateway to the Everest. We can see amazing mountains just looking at us so closely. Overnight stay in Lukla. 

Day 15 :- Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu 40 minutes

This is our last day in this region and we take a thrilling flight from Lukla to Kathmandu which takes around 35-40 minutes. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 16 :- International Departure

Your last day with us, so our airport representative drops you to the airport for your flight back to your own land.
