Mera Peak Climbing is the most popular and highest trekking peak in Nepal which takes us to the summit of Mera Peak (6,461m). It is of the most impressive trekking peak and holds as the highest trekking peak among other over 6,000 meters which is full of wilderness with natural surroundings. It is situated in Solukhumbu District of Nepal that provides the best view of view more than five mountains above 8000-meter peaks including mighty Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga. It is a challenging trek so climbers need to have strong physical and mental fitness and most importantly trekking and climbing experience before applying for this trek. Mera Peak Climbing combines cultural experience, high mountains & glaciers, passes, waterfalls and natural wonders, so it will fulfill every desire you’re expecting form one adventure. 
Mera Peak Climbing commences with an early morning scenic flight to Lukla offering fantastic views of the White Mountains. From our starting point of the trek, our trail goes through the pristine forest of Pine, Rhododendron, and streams to Chutanga. We continue our trek enjoying spectacular views of Number Himal, Karyolang peak, Kongdi RI and many other neighboring mountains and peaks. On our way, we can see Mera and the Hinku Valley passing through thick forests to Kothe. As we move forward to Thangnak, we can admire ancient Buddhist monasteries and splendid mountain views. Then we descend slightly towards Dig Kharka from Chapatti Tal and move towards Khare for acclimatization. After a rest day in Khare, Finally, we head to Mera Camp. After stepping on the top of Mera Peak we descend back with off the beaten trail of Himalayas, we continue our journey back to Lukla Airport and fly to Kathmandu.

Day 1 :- Kathmandu Arrival

On your first day in Nepal, one of our representatives will welcome you at the airport and direct transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 :- Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

Today, you’ll meet your city tour guide. He’ll take you to the cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Monkey Temple. At the evening, you can buy some trekking gears and necessary items for peak climbing and return to the same hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 3 :- Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Chutanga 3,430m

Finally, we are flying to Lukla, also known as Gateway to Everest, and after having lunch at Lukla, we begin our trek towards Chutanga from Lukla point. Overnight at Chutanga. 

Day 4 :- Trek to Thuli-Kharka 4,300 m

We continue our adventure early morning climb crossing over Kalo Himal Ridge of Nau-Lekh mountain range that separates Khumbu and Hinku Valley. After reaching ridge decorated by colorful prayer flags and continue our steep climb to arrive at Thuli Kharka for an overnight stay.

Day 5 :- Trek to Mousum-Kharka 3,430m

Early morning short walk starts with a downhill walk witnessing an extremely beautiful view of Peak 43 and Kusum Kanguru. Gradual walk through the forest of pine and rhododendron leads us to pasture at Mousum Kharka for an overnight stay. 

Day 6 :- Trek to Kothe 4,182m

Now, we walk on the main trail to Mera Peak next to Majang Khola. After reaching Tashing Ongma, tea stop, we cross a bridge over Sanu Khola before reaching today’s stop, Kothe for an overnight stay. 

Day 7 :- Trek to Thagnak 4,360m

We start our day with gradual ascent and we will have close views of Kusum Kanguru peak and other neighboring Himalayas. As we move further, we also get to see Mt. charpate and Mera La and a Buddhist Gomba in the lap of the big rock. Then we reach Thagnak which is a summer grazing area with the few teahouses and lodges.

Day 8 :- Rest day at Thagnak

We take much-needed rest today after walking continuous 5 days in steep trail most of the times. Today, we can explore Thagnak and cultural insight into the place. Overnight at the same lodge. 

Day 9 :- Trek to Khare 5,000m

Today we get to witness the north of the Hinku Nup glacier and the line of other peaks beyond. From Charpatti Tal, we move downhill slightly and cross a sandy bowl to the steep stream that descends from Dig Kharka. Then our trail moves slightly up towards Khare. Overnight stay at Khare. 

Day 10 :- Trek to Mera Base Camp 5, 300m

Finally, we are going to the base camp of the highest trekking peak in Nepal at an elevation of approximately 5,300m. It takes around 2-3 hours of continuous walk from Khare to arrive at Mera Base Camp. Overnight at Mera Base Camp. 

Day 11 :- Rest day at Mera Base Camp

This is our extra day to explore the beauty around Mera Base Camp. It is better to acclimatize at Mera Base Camp before ascending up to higher elevation. Overnight at Mera Base Camp. 

Day 12 :- Early Morning climb to High camp 5,780m

Our morning walk leads towards High Camp via rocky trail. On our way to High Camp, we can see beautiful mountains looking at us: Cho Oyu, Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang and Baruntse. We set up a camp at High Camp for an overnight stay. 

Day 13 :- Climb Mera Peak summit at 6,461m

Finally, here is the day we are going to step on the peak of mighty Mera Peak at an elevation of 6,461m. From the top of the Mera Peak, we can explore the beauty of other mountains such as Baruntse (7129m), Makalu, Chamlang (7319m) and Nau Lekh (6360m), etc. We descend back to base camp for an overnight stay. 

Day 14 :- Trek to Thagnak 4,360m

From Day 14, descend back journey starts after enjoying extremely beautiful Mera Peak and other white mountains. Today we descend back to Thagnak at an elevation of 4,360m for an overnight stay. 

Day 15 :- Trek to Thuli -Kharka 4,200m

Early morning after breakfast, we descend back to Thuli Kharka through Himalayan pine and rhododendron forest. We cross grazing land with gentle climb enjoying views of Mera Peak and other mountains and reach Thuli Kharka. Overnight at Thuli Kharka. 

Day 16 :- Trek to Chutanga 3,430m

Today, we take steep climb at Zatwar-La-Pass with beautiful views of Number Himal and Dudh Koshi River. After several refreshing points on our way, steep descent brings you to today’s stop Chutanga.

Day 17 :- Trek to Lukla

We are on the last day of our trek so, we kick off our walk with an amazing breakfast at Chutanga. We walk on the same trail and cross woodland and forest to reach Lukla for an overnight stay. 

Day 18 :- Fly back to Kathmandu

Finally, we are leaving the mountain environment and leaving for a busy city and crowded life. We leave Lukla behind and fly to Kathmandu after a nice Lunch at Lukla. Overnight in Kathmandu. 

Day 19 :- Free day in Kathmandu

This is your free day in Kathmandu so, you can explore remaining historical sites in Kathmandu including Changunarayan, Budhanilkantha, Patan, and others. Overnight at the same hotel. 

Day 20 :- International Departure

The final day of Mera Peak Climbing, so one of our representatives will take you to the airport for your flight back to your own land.
