    Best Time

Kanchenjunga Trek is wilderness & probably the best off the beaten trekking trails in the eastern part of Nepal. This is one of the unexplored and virgin trekking route that leads you to the base camp of the third highest mountain in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga. You can also experience other mountains from the small and high snowy peak above 8,000 m and below 8,000m such as Mt.Makalu (8,201m), Mt. Everest (8,848m), and Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), etc. Not only does Kanchenjunga Trek offers an opportunity to enjoy a Himalayan landscape, but this trek also provides a fascinating introduction to the cultural diversity of the region. Due to the winding path, high elevation and rocky difficult trail, it is a difficult trek that fits for trekkers with basic trekking experience and strong physical and mental fitness.
Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek starts from Suketar, Taplejung is easily accessible by both bus and flight. Then we start walking through lush rhododendron forests and climb on into high alpine terrain beyond the village of Gunsa.  On the way to Kanchenjunga Base Camp, we go through the beautiful village of Sekathum, Gunsa, Amejelasa, Gyapla, Khambochen and finally reach Kanchenjunga Pangpema Base Cam. After having the best time at Kanchenjunga Base Camp, we descend down via the same route. The best month to go on this trek are Mar-May and Sept-December.
