    Best Time

Helambu Trek is one of the most popular short trek itineraries for trekkers in Langtang Region. Despite being easily accessible from Kathmandu, the Helambu trekking trail remains relatively un-spoilt. On this beautiful adventure, you can find unchanged central Nepal: trails passing through dense forests and rich culture, traditional Buddhist villages with impressive mountain views which are genuinely worthy to explore. This trek fits for short time trekkers, and best for those having trouble with high altitude. The trail goes relatively on low altitude along a less crowded trekking route through lush forests, rhododendron forests, green valleys, Buddhist monasteries, Tamang and Sherpa villages.
The Helambu Trek commences from Sundarijal, an hour's drive from Kathmandu. We enter Shivapuri National Park after an hour of decent walk. We continue our walk through the colorful forest enjoying varieties of flora and fauna along the Chisopani, Kutumsang, Thadepati, and Sermathang.  Our Helambu Trek ends at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region. We will also trek through some beautiful rice terraces, grazing field and a number of ancient Buddhist monasteries. If you have less time still want to explore the beauty of Langtang Region and mountains then this trek is definitely worthy to go on.
